    what was with the point deduction?

    Dirrell actually got a point deducted for HOLDING!? or was it somethin else?
    imagine b-hop fighting in britain
    while froch got a way with rabbit punches, hitting on the break, throwing dirrell around and bieng a ******

    truely some biased ****

      I would've taken the point also. Much of the fight was taken up by Dirrell holding or retreating. While I'm a fan of technical skills and hit and not get hit, that isn't what was on display much of the time for Dirrell, it was just running. If I were Froch's corner, I would've told him to do exactly what he was doing, minus throwing him. Turn it into a dog fight.

      And I don't think what Dirrell did should be compared with Hopkins either. When needed, Bernard has been able to turn a boxing match into a rough affair like Froch did. This fight was just ugly.
