    I grew up with the Dempsey mythology of Jack from my ole man who also learnt about Jacks amazing rise to top from his father. I guess you can throw Marciano in there also. Who wouldn’t be inspired by “Manassa “ Jack . Replicating that Style is a whole different story though. That goes for Marciano also and you can throw in Joe Louis also . Those legends were naturally special. I don’t want to compare Ryan to them . That would be unfair. Even “Iron “ Mike wanted to be like Jack & Rocky but couldn’t. I’ve seen Ryan before and wish him all the best . I have no doubt he’ll fight Opetaia.

        Certain styles are best left to the eras in which they were dominant. That swarmer style can work, it can, it it’s user better have a cast iron chin, stellar head movement and footwork, and conditioning second to none.
