No I do t think he was in any way. The Thurman performance shows this.

He just lost to a better boxer and his fans that desperately wanted him to win have to make excuses because he got beat by a wide margin.

I also point this out because guys like you don’t hold him accountable for avoiding the fight, only to say if the fight was earlier he’d have had a better chance to win.
