Comments Thread For: Keith Thurman still interested in Tim Tszyu fight, but only if it makes sense

Keith Thurman returned to the ring with a **** last month. His next step, however, is not definitely Tim Tszyu, as he tells BoxingScene's Tris Dixon.

    easy win for one-time!

“So you got a check for me? You got somebody to punch in the face and you got to check for me. Send it over, man. You got a number for my peoples. Let my peoples get with your peoples. You give me my next check. That’s the mindset Keith Thurman’s in right now.”

Thurman frequently announces potential fights without following through. Has he stopped getting injured and suddenly started fighting twice a year?
This could create tracking and timing challenges for any potential opponent.

So he's only back because his Indian wife ran through all of the Manny money, just as I thought.

Even if Tim looks bad I still think he'd stop Keef given how he got buckled against a much smaller opponent, not on a world level, who was controlling the pace of the fight before Keef caught him and got the stoppage.

In a competition of massive egos... thurmos wins every time. That and his weakness for body shots
will be his demise. Still enjoy watching the Manny fight as he embarrassed him and took his belt.

So this is what Thurman did during the 3 years he was off: listening to himself talk the talk, but without walking the walk.
