ESPN's Dan Rafael: 114-113 for Froch

I watched that UK telecast on a stream.

They scored it 114-113 for Dirrell, but also said it was very close and some rounds could go either way.

Showtime commentators were similar they had it 1point either way pretty much, then factor in point reduction

Is anyone really surprised that Rafael would be biased against Dirrell?

I'm sure he'll be biased against Ward in the November fight too.

Rafael's score is correct.

No one should take a world title from the champion by doing little except running, holding, falling and bitching. Froch at least controlled the pace of the fight.

I don't get why the world title should come into the decision. Both fighters should enter the ring equal. You shouldn't have to do more than usual just to beat the guy who has the title.

To me its one of those old-age things of the sport that just doesnt make much sense.

I have Froch winning in a closed decision. Dirrell was running and holding too much(just like Rafael said). Froch was overall the aggressor. And when the commentators said that Dirrell was fast and landing punches, in some of them it looks like it was hitting Froch's gloves.

Dirrell clearly won the last few round because he was attacking and landing effective punches.

Not being bias, not a hater, just saying what i saw.

Froch never gets arked up, his face looked the same after the pascal and Taylor fights when he was getting hit with bombs.
