I am criticizing Canelo’s opponents so you can either agree that those 5 names were cherry-picks or not. Your response to that is to criticize Benny’s resume.

Every boxing analyst and most boxing fans are in agreement that Canelo is ducking Benny while fighting mediocre guys. Your response to that is to say that those guys are better than Benny’s opponents. This is a hilarious (not) response.

Because the guy that’s holding ALL the belts hostage is Canelo. Benny has fought two guys that Canelo ducked - Boo Boo and Morell.

Benny has not been accused of ducking anyone at 168. Of course the haters said he was ducking Morell. He was not.

Who did Benny have to beat to get a shot at Canelo? He was Canelo’s mandatory and was the top guy at 168 without the belt.

To use your argument, What exactly has Scully done to get a shot at Canelo? How about a 154 Ibs Charlo? What has he done to get a shot at Canelo moving up two weight classes? How about Berlanga and Munguia?

Can you imagine Bivol or Beterbiev (before they fought each other) choosing to fight Connor Wallace or Willy Hutchinson? You’d have to google those names to figure out that they are both ranked 9th and 10th at Light heavyweight. That was exactly everyone’s reaction when the news came out that Canelo was fighting Berlanga and Scully. Nobody knew them.

I would not be surprised if Canelo fights Wallace over Benny in his next fight.
