    Poor Jermain...

3 of his 4 losses by knock out.
I haven't yet seen the Abraham fight, just the knock out.. it didn't seem like such a hard shot though, then again, I don't know what happened before that.
I'm starting to wonder if Kelly Pavlik might have ruined him.
Only thing he has done since the Pavlik beatings is UD a shot Lacy.

Props to Arthur Abraham, I can't wait to watch the fight.

I honestly think the Hopkins and Winky Wright fight ruined him, He has looked like trash against less fighters ever since. Also AA outboxed Taylor Today and wa sahead about 8-3 at the time of the stoppage.

He did ok early on and in my view won the first 5 but you could see the tide turning as the rounds went on.....I don't think he gassed this time just got clipped by an enormous puncher in the end after being weakened by some punishment.

He lost to 3 world class fighters with REAL punching power. Taylor was lucky to get the nod in his fights with Hopkins and he was lucky to earn a draw in the fight with Wright.

Taylor is a good fighter and a nice guy, but before facing the three men who knocked him out he hadn't really faced adversity outside of the first Hopkins fight and he didn't fight anyone who had a real shot at taking him out with 1 punch.

It will be hard for him to recover from these losses. All 3 KO losses were very demoralizing, very nasty physically as well. I wish Jermain the best in the future though. I hope he has made enough money to support himself and his family.

Good news was he didnt appear to be tired. Bad news he still cant take a shot although he took a big one which seriously staggered him in round 9.

Taylor looked good in the first Pavlik fight though and even managed to drop him.
But your right.. the Ouma and Spinks fights weren't impressive.

Out of curiosity, who was winning the fight before the start of the 12th?

Please, all Winky and Hopkins did to him was give him love taps. Pavlik was the one who really crushed him mentally and physically. But I just think it's a lot more mental that physical with him at this point.
