Not even oil money can buy Matchroom, Top Rank, Goldenboy, Warren, PBC and all the others.
Pride and Strikforce were probably faltering and Dana White bought for next to nothing. The boxing promotions and rosters are worth hundreds of millions and lawsuits never ending.

Some of your zingers were funny, but Eastern Europeans have dominated boxing for the last 25 years. Don’t get that twisted with your other comedy routines.

Once the sportswashing is complete and Turki loses favour with how he's spending the Saudi wealth fund, TKO will go the way of Pride, Strikeforce and get folded into UFC...imho

Meanwhile, make hay while the sun shines.

I don’t think “ethnicity “ has anything to do with people feelings of Haymon and PBC. It was the big talk but dwindling performances by the company and terrible cards , especially inactivity on many of the supposed big star attractions. And add to that always fought in house, when most all, if not ALL the best fighters were with other promotions.

Yeah I'm reading the articles and it looks like Dana's going to try and replicate what he did with the UFC for his boxing outfit, which is not going to work because the boxers and their teams know their worth (and we've all seen how Dana White ripped off his MMA fighters).

Turki and Dana may want only 1 belt but that's not going to work either because the WBC and WBA have too much history and prestige world-wide, and all the young fighters coming up love those belts and dream of winning them. (4 belts are too much, Ibf and wbo should be scrapped)

Dana downsizing on weight classes is a s t u p id idea, the weight classes we have now are fine and imo we actually need more, even though it's an unpopular opinion. The lower weight classes are popular outside the U.S.

The new outfit will make some noise for a while and then just become another cookie cutter boxing promotions. It's too bad Turki didn't hookup with actual true boxing heads instead of a greedy, dumass like Dana.

In all honesty it seems like Dana and Turki are on different pages as I’ve been reading a lot contradictory statements from both guys
Are they trying to play good guy bad guy and see where it gets them ???
One seems bent over doing his own thing while the other seems to just wanna get along
This UFC concept won’t work in boxing which is to big and to wide , of a sport to actually function that way imo
The only way for it to work is kind of like thé PBC doing their own thing , lots of in house fights and having a spell over their fighters whether it’s contract or just flat out buying them out

"Preciate the compliment but I gotta respectfully disagree with you. East Euros have dominated boxing for the last 25 years? Where??? Certainly not "Murica. Our first introduction to a dominant East Euro was Vassily Jirov vs James Toney in 2003. We were told that Jirov was the first of a new wave of East Euros that was going to dominate American boxers forever. Well James Toney canceled that in what was one of the best fights in history. We didn't see that wave until ten years later with Lomachenko, Krusher Kovalev and 3G. Those 3 were great champions but that's about all we got. The rest were being heavily pushed and promoted by HBO and Top Rank but were never true champions. Like Tomasz Adamek, Glazkov, Povetkin (drug cheat) and Provodnikov. These were A level fighters in Europe but B level fighters in the states. What I will concede is the HWs from 2000-2010. After the American HWs fought their last battles in the 90s the Klitschkos did dominate for a decade. There were other East Euros that came but no one notable. 2010-2020 was the AJ-Wilder-Fury era. So no sir they did not dominate at all. Much respect to Beterbiev and Bivol but having only a handful of champs in 25 years doesn't put you anywhere near the American boxers. Sorry!

*3G went life and death with Canelo and Danny Jacobs and was scared to death to move up to fight Ward
*Krusher Kovalev got CRUSHED by Ward in the 2nd fight
*Loma lost to Salido, split with GRJ, and then lost to Lopez and Haney
*They will never be considered the greatest ever sorry
