Understand that Vazquez faired quite well against Ford and Cordina, perhaps should had earned a win against either one.

But coming off a loss then fighting against a very tall well rounded boxer with punching power seems like it be a stylistic nightmare for him. Should had probably rebuild against a top ranked opponent rather get a title shot.

Think Rafael Espinoza should had went for it against Emmanuel Navarrete at 130 in a all mexican war.

I will purchase 1 month of ESPN+ to see this card. We will see what Mickey Mouse does with Uncle Bob before I sign up for a full year.

He’s fought twice since the Cordina fight, albeit not the level of competition he’ll be facing in Espinoza.

That makes the fight more entertaining for me personally then. At least Edward kept busy and is in the winning column.

Vazquez is a similar case to Joet Gonzalez, they are fighters with complete textbook fundamentals but lack killer instinct. Joet could probably had beaten Lopez and Dogboe if he took more risks rather than stick with his gameplan. At least I thought he beat Dogboe while Lopez edged it.

ESPN is terminating their relationship with Top Rank when the contract expires in August. After August there will be zero major American broadcasters in the boxing business, so definitely do NOT buy a year of ESPN+ if you're wanting just boxing.
