Its not about who benavides beat at 175, it's more who at 175 would you pick to best benavides at 175? If you are finding it hard to pick someone bivo l should get credit.

is it like no 154lb fighter would get credit for beating bud at 154 because buds only been a beast at 147lb?
Bivol should get credit. It's like when nobody wanted to give full credit to pac for beating bradley at 147, as bradley was a 140 fighter beforehand?

He brings nothing to Bivol`s legacy. When Bivol beats him, they will say "oh benavidez was just never good", the same they say about everybody.

Benavidez is not known in Europe.

          He brings nothing.
Benavidez is officially on the espn p4p list, he is one of the best fighters in the world, a former 2x WC, the youngest ever at 168, and the fighter Canelo ducked. Undefeated and in his prime, how on earth would that not add to any fighters legacy? It would be a better win that beating a blown up middle weight in Canelo. Only an idiot would say Benavidez was never that good if he lost. He has already proven to be a very good fighter. You don't comfortably beat, Dirrell, Plant, Andrade, Gvozdyk and Morrell without being very good.

Wouldn't be an earth shattering win as I think big dave has looked human at 175 but would still be a good win.

I've never heard of any of these, so I'm gonna go with 'no'.

yes, he looked human in 1st fight at 175. But so did usyk at heavyweight, so Josh and fury should really have best usyk? But it don't work like that.
Bivol beating benavides will be the difficult bit

I guess Bivol's closest fight of his career, after Beterbiev, was the Craig Richards fight. Then Richards got beat by Buatsi the year after in another close fight. So based on that, it's possible both Callum and Buatsi could be competitive with Bivol. Callum was easily beaten by Beterbiev though, but totally different style to Bivol. I'd like to see the Benavidez fight though, at least before Bivol moves up to cruiserweight to fight Jai Opetaia.

Benavidez is just another opponent for Bivol, like Salamov or Alvarez. he will lose like all these guys did.

                    Only Artur is special.

Benevides CAN beat Bivol. He has the skills and the intangibles. He has youth, size, very fast hands and can throw his hands in volume. I think Bivol - Beneivides is a good matchup. We don't know what will happen but it will be an interesting fight !
