Comments Thread For: Who is William Scull?

Super middleweight titleholder William Scull is, at least in theory, one punch away from becoming an undisputed champion. Yet in the lead-up to his May 3 fight against Saul ?Canelo? Alvarez, most are still learning his identity.

Its an extremely sad state of affairs when the headline reads "who is William Scull". Canelo has sunk to new depths!!

He’s the fighter who is +$1100 to beat Canelo
And still not one betting slip
His nuthuggers can say what they want but none have the balls to bet him
      Now that says it all

What if this is all an elaborate revenge plan from Turkish_D who is actually setting up Canelo for a loss and a public humiliation by paying off the judges? He would also bet a few millions at +1100 and make a bundle at the same time! Win-win! But more seriously, the fact Boxingscene felt compelled to tell us who is William Skull says it all.

Scull is a full-blown 168 guy, not hard to see why TC only wants Canelo at 168.

Obviously Canelo is going for two-time undisputed champion at SMW... which we can't
lame him for doing. 'Skull' has little power, so the only threat would be a points win for him.

This is a safe opponent. This bout allows Canelo to stage his annual Cinco De Mayo fight/celebration, while keeping the Canelo VS Crawford showdown intact.

Let's hope that Canelo doesn't suffer a bad cut or injury. That's the only risk at stake VS Scull.
