I was thinking about going to the fight but god forbid this sounds like a ********* attack waiting to happen. Why not just have the fight at the garden?
- I may attend this event as I am only a train ride away from NYC Times Square.
- I'll wait for more info to come out before I make my decision...............
Quite interesting how Romero keeps getting big name fights, but lost all of them.
I guess it helps if one can self promote well.
He plays the part real well. He's got the look of a bad guy, talks like the heel against most of his opponents and makes for an exciting fight. Kind of a low key Ricardo Mayorga. That dude lost probably all his biggest match ups following his Vernon Forest win, yet continued to get those massive paychecks. He was the perfect bad guy opponent for someone to beat up on and look good in the process. Rolly is probably this generation's Ricardo Mayorga.
Well, I thought I understood how this was going to work when Turki Alalshikh said "100 to 300 seats, special invitation only". I was believing that the card might be put out on all the big screens that are there, plus the usual TV broadcast. But the idea of a huge static crowd in that area boggles my tiny brain....
