    Thanks for the great fights , you were one of the guys who really did fight with heart and soul. Enjoy the easy life , you more than earned it.

        This farce that boxers are above criticism is baffling.....
        Each and every one of us gleefully criticize actors and directors and pop stars for their shltty product
        As if any of us can act, make a movie or perform in front of 1000's of strangers
        The high horse is pure cringe

        Anyway

        I have nothing against JH or anything to praise him for.
        He was a boxer
        Had some moments.
        Sounds like he will keep his word and stay retired.

          True, Hurd was a tough fighter that had to come to terms in his own head that it was over, hope he enjoys his life and things go well for him.
