I was at the arena watching the fight, with a pretty good view. I had Froch one point up. It was a very close fight and I wouldn't have argued if Dirrell was given the decision. A draw would have been fair, but in my opinion, Froch just edged it.

A draw is fair enough but with the point deduction you are looking at a Froch win in that case.

It's amazing how the scores are different from everyone.

I really think it's tough to argue with a split decision.

****, you're right. I'm correcting mine to 8-2-2 Dirrell. Nobody can score the first round anything other than a draw - there wasn't a single punch thrown.
