But I do understand that he could be frustrated when the media keeps asking who's next, instead of celebrating a good win, or on the current bout.

I was irritated by the US commentary team in the Last crescendo card in Saudi. I was wondering are they actually watching at least one of the best fight cards, because they kept on promoting future fights.

I was like, damn, you don't care about Beterbiev-Bivol II, maybe the biggest light heavyweight fight of the century, or the other decent fights happening.

But I get it, Dazn paid them to keep on talking about upcoming fights and get more subscribers in general.

It's a shame if he does leave the sport without having the big fights he should be having, but if his heart is genuinely in the sport then theres no point carrying on, but he would be leaving alot of money on the table and his legacy in the sport wouldn't were it could be. Also think fighting guys like Lamont roach and frank Martin can't be helping in terms of motivation because there's no danger of losing for tank there

I agree that Tank’s list of opponents is very disappointing and leaves a lot to be desired.

But there’s something to be said about always being asked who’s next, after you beat this guy then what about this other guy etc. It never ends. Look at Bivol being in two tough fights then being asked to do a third, and if not then face David Benavidez. It’s like there’s no time to breath.

If he needs to take some time for himself to think about some things and re-focus on what really matters to him then so be it. He should do it.
