    Complete nonsense.

Canelo's the cash cow of Western boxing, post Mayweather, so he can fight whoever he wants & give them a record pay day, whenever he wants.

Bivol/Beterbiev was held back by the WBC, the pandemic, & Canelo's foray at 175.

The best fighters learn and adapt. First fight he obviously respected GGG’s power and wasn’t going to get reckless early and trade as he didn’t want to get caught with something big. I think he realized he could hold up to GGG’s shots.

Reynoso said in fight 2 they realized the key was to keep GGG moving so he couldn’t load up on his power shots. Canelo moved and turned him often even if a counter wasn’t there. Why he tried to bait him on fight week to come meet him in the middle of the ring and knock him out. They had a better game plan.

So he was juicing the first fight and looked worse than in the second fight when they had more testing measures in place GGG’s team pushed for? Yeah that makes sense.

Plus the substance he failed for was used for cutting weight. Why would he be cutting weight 2 months before a fight in a weight class he had no problem making until a few years later as he got older? Plus let’s be real if wanted that juice he could make sure he was on the stuff that beats the tests. Like Mayweather.

Nope just a bunch of fight fans that were following the lead up to the fight. Most thought GGG would easily just like the majority on this board did at the time.

GGG was seen as a monster that would be too much for the guy moving up in weight. He couldn’t get the job done and left it up to the judges. I guess people don’t remember the **** his trainer was saying during fight week. No one to blame but himself then he got sonned in the rematch and fought to lose a decision to cash that retirement check in the third fight.
This is absolutely correct i also recall the first time Nelo went up to 168 in his first fight he was criticized on here for fighting Rocky Field.

They said he would never face the "true" champion at 168 which at the time was the unbeaten Callum Smith.

You will realise if you been here long enough Nelo lives rent free in their heads
