cats are cute but annoying. Did you know that if the owner dies then the cat will eat the corpse to survive? Whereas same situation with a dog, the dog will lie down and die alongside the dead owner.

Not completely true, but some truth in it. Cats are like your children. You love them disproportionately more than they love you.

I did learn that.
Cats are therefore practicing sustainability and display their pragmatic nature.
I cannot fault them for eating their dead owners. It's a shame to waste good meat.
