Well the rumor was that Wlad was shot, but apparently everyone is too afraid to find out if the rumor is true. Initially it was rumored that Wlad fight Moorer, Lyakhovich, or Eliecer Castillo. Since Moorer is fighting Oquendo and Lyakhovich pulled out, it looks like Wlad may have to fight Castillo.

Castillo BEAT Moorer the only time I saw him. I guess Wlad isn't going to fight a Don King fighter? Owen Beck would be a good opponent...

Where did you hear this? I checked a couple of websites and they don't mention anything about this.

I heard Lyakhovich pulled out because he had problems with german visa or something. Anyway by the end of the day I will know if the fight is cancelled or not.

Also for people who actually think that Wlad looked bad in his fight, watch fight again. Wlad totally changed his style and could not really unleash his offensive arsenal on a guy who ran away the whole fight. The only time when he did was after a knock down when Williamson thought that Wlad is hurt and went for a kill wlad finally coenered him and gave him a beating. Thats why judges scored that round 10-9 instead of 10-8.

.....You have alot of people on this site who actually think Williamson was winning that fight and Wlad was hurt when the flash knockdown occured. lol lol lol

The Castillo fight would be best i think. He's a well schooled boxer and doesn't posses knockout power. I think it would restore some crediblity IF he can win otherwise he should just pack it up

I think Wladimir Klitschko should take on Monte Barrett if it well gets done which I doubt highly. Or he could face Danny Williams to get some respect back.

All I will say is this, if Wlad ever restores his confidence he will destroy every heavyweight out there now including Tyson. There are rumors out there that say Wlad has restored his prowess finally with the help of Manny Steward and he has bought into Manny's style but the only way to know that for sure is to watch his perform in April.
