I Forget he was only 24 when he world the world heavyweight title, but yeah out of the older crop of heavyweights he is the youngest one but he's had a long career been some in heavy fights and took losses so the fact he's still up there as a top contender proves the guy does work really hard because he's managed to still get himself these big fights. I think though the time in his career where he wasn't all in was round the time he fought AJ and Dillian Whyte because he underperformed in both them fights.

I think Italian referee Giuseppe Quartarone prevented Joe from fighting effectively against AJ, slapping down any inside fighting for reasons that I couldn't fathom. Looked dodgy to me. But Parker went on to start boxing his opponents' ears off rather than coming in to rough it out and he's good at it. I wish there was a belt on the line for Martin and Joe. What ever happened to 'Champion In Recess', freeing up a belt for others on a temporary basis? Doesn't matter really, I think this fight is interesting in its own right.
