It is wild that he's only 30.

It just seemed in his biggest fights against the best operators that offensively he didn't have enough.

Didn't have the authority in his punches to turn the tide in a fight getting away from him or to stop the forward march of top fighters (at the time) like Pulev and Povetkin.

At the time I remember thinking he could have edged Parker but I've never really felt the need to watch it back.

Hughie is definitely tough and defensively repsonsible at the highest level.

Hughie Fury is a good guy and has earned the right to be part of the heavyweight conversation. Those rubbishing him should watch a few of his fights. He is at a very good level.
Hughie was on the same pigs ball diet Tyson was given 2 years for but was allowed to challenge Parker in Manchester after canceling their fight in NZ because of "injury."

Team Hughie then tried to job Team Parker and intimidate them until Parker's manager Higgins turned up with Frans Botha as bodyguard and messed up their presser.

Baby Hughie thought he could back pedal and pitty pat Parker for a title in his backyard.

Whoever felt Parker lost that fight needs to put the pipe down and step away from the computer...

Hughie might be a good guy but his Dad was a bad man and Karma is still a bïtch!

Hughie looks more like he's 40 than 30. And he's always sick. These Fury guys age in dog years.

Peter Fury was a big drug cartel kingpin, rumor was he was still operating from the joint when he was behind door. Peter is a gentleman compared to his brother John, but beneath that demeanor lies the heart of a killer. And of course Tyson Fury still can't enter the USA because of his ties to Irish mob boss and accused killer Daniel Kinahan.

Peter couldn't get into NZ for Hughie to take on Parker so they faked an injury and got the fight moved to their backyard in Manchester.

After Hughie got schooled his promoter had this to say...

"This is corruption at its highest level in boxing. I thought it was an absolute masterclass, shades of Ali. Parker wasn't even in the fight. One of the worst decisions I've ever seen." - Mick Hennessey

                I lol'd.

Shared the ring with the 3 P's and lost to all of them. Nuff said.

I've always liked Hughie, but he needs to clime the ladder, which means going the English/British title route. Wardley vs Fury could be a good ticket seller!

If Fury is fighting in April and May if that is the case his not getting tough fights it will be 2 journeyman then promising a decent opponent later in the year, watching his 3 fights from last year he looks average they won't risk it. His going to be fed stiffs and as soon as he steps up will lose again, whatever his health issues it's made him go backwards and he will not be a threat to any top heavyweight.
