I'd pick Hitchins to beat Barboza in another non fan friendly fight. There seems to be a lot of these low volume / low risk fighters at 140.

More dreariness! They're similarly skilled but Hitchins takes more chances so I see him winning this bout. I understand the approach of a counterpuncher and boxing in general is to hit and not be hit but nowadays world-class counterpunchers are essentially performing as amateur boxers and completely disinvested in giving the public a good fight.

Part of the issue is how many boxers don't care about the fans anymore and reduce the sport to a business. Of course it's always been a business, but in the past, even the recent past, boxers respected the sport in a way that was about giving us a good spectacle, to entertain the fans. It's sad we're getting so many duds like this because of the individualistic turn in the sport, so sad, like the world we live in.

Barboza wa ver nearly the victim of hometown jusdging for which england is notorious. Had Barboza by three rounds, the judge scoring 115-114 for Catterall was clearly wearing his union flag tinted sun glasses. JOSH taylor got robbed against Catterral.in england, although Catterall himself was robbed in Glasgow against Taylor. Barboza deserfed to have his hand raised!

So many proposed fights with Teo but none of them get made. It seems like there are so many would be stars looking in his direction, while Teo is looking at stars and money above him. Everybody is dreaming of a large payday and so far all we get are articles on boxing web sites. Hopefully something gets made soon. I don't really want to see another Steve Claggett fight.

Say what you will about Claggett but he’s a tough out for all the top guys
