Finland KO'd Russia the first time but I admit they came back well from the loss. I don't believe the excuses about Russia being "overconfident" and "unprepared" in their first meeting, Finland simply used superior strategies and heart to overcome a big size disadvantage.
the finnish soldiers were well trained.
they were well prepared and equipped for fighting in snow and forests.Comment

Finland's army had much more experienced people leading the troops, having been through the Civil War in the early 1900's, than Soviet Union which had lost most of its high ranking officials due to Stalin "cleaning" out the ranks.
So in that way I guess they were a bit unprepared.Comment
