they're likely short-sighted and just enjoying the money they have now with a fight or two per year

Ohh they were ranked by crooked organizations in a weak era of boxing. What wins are you wetting your panties about in Ajs career? A 40 year old coming off an extended layoff Klitchko? Other than that, all of his opposition is online with Ortiz 2x, stiverne 2x, arreola, Molina, spizilka, Washington , breazelle (who they both fought) and helenius. I know you AJ fans like to put him on some nonexistent imaginary pedestal but that’s not the reality. Not to mention wilder and fury fought 3x and he never even stepped in the ring with either. That’s a stain for him aside from his mediocre wins.

Wilder faced Fury 3x, who was the best fighter in the division before he declined & Usyk took over.

Usyk still said that a shopworn Fury was the best fighter he ever faced & Wilder faced a younger, fresher version & almost knocked him out 4x.

None of those top 10 fighters mattered other than Wilder, Fury, & Joshua (until Usyk fully emerged)

Fury & Wilder faced each other 3x. Joshua missed them both.

Nobody cares about Pulev & Charles Martin.

If I had to pick between the two I would go with Calzaghe by decision.

A year ago Someone did ask Bread about a Ward-Calzaghe matchup and Bread picked Calzaghe by UD.
I also pick Calzaghe by UD. I just thought Bread would have called it a pick “em fight but he didn’t.

Similar quality of opponents faced, AJ was more skilled but Wilder had more one punch power and heart.

GGG had a great chin, though I don't think it was underrated.
