  • Comments Thread For: TV Picks of the Week: Denys Berinchyk to defend against Keyshawn Davis

Can Keyshawn Davis top his most impressive performance yet against Denys Berinchyk in a Valentines Day treat on ESPN? Or will this fight be too much, too soon?

Ellis is a good fighter, that loss against Villa was a close fight, he dominated most of the fight. Zayas is talented but does not have power, eventually they will walk through him.

Last year, the 22-year-old Zayas – who is from Puerto Rico and fights out of Florida – won wide decisions over former title challenger Patrick Teixeira
teixeira was a title holder/titlist/champion. he won wbo interim belt but was soon upgraded because munguia moved up (which was expected at the time and that's why teixeira - adames was for the interim belt). then he lost in his first defense to castano.

Easy win for Keyshawn. Should have been tank fighting him but too much of a risk for tank. Only fights non elite fighters.

Berinchyk is awkward, but has no real power, and his jab isn't that great either. He moves around a lot, but he often lunges in when he attacks, leaving himself open to sharp counters and/or uppercuts. Also, Davis is definitely NOT Navarette, so courage won't be enough.. I say early KO. 4th or 5ft round.

Yeah I can see that happening
The only reason why I’m thinking late is cause it’ll probably take Keyshawn a few rounds to get acclimated to his awkwardness
And yeah , he ain’t got power Berinchyk

Thank you for catching that. I've made the fix.
