Obviously. Just because you're too ignorant to know the fighters and don't follow the division doesn't make them bums. Inoue, for instance, fought the #1 and #2 ranked champions in his division to go undisputed in his divisional debut, one of whom was #10 ranked P4P at the time, and the remaining guys except late replacement Kim in place of #4 ranked IBF/WBO mandatory Goodman were all the other guys in the top of the division. Canelo, after losing his cojones to Bivol, has only fought Ryder and Berlanga in his own division. Berlanga was the mandatory to his own WBA mandatory in Morrell, who was mandatory since January 2021. Benavidez was mandatory since May 2022. The fact that you don't understand the difference there says everything.
You're too much of a fan to understand that

Canelo Alvarez whether people like to admit it or not 'Has easily top-3 best resumes in the entire sport of boxing, out of all currently active fighters. Oleksandr Uysk may be the only active fighter with a better overall resume than Canelo Alvarez. On a fight by fight basis, the level which Alvarez has fought and won at is only surpassed by Oleksandr Uysk in my opinion'.
William Scull vs Canelo Alvarez is for the Undisputed Super Middle Weight titles 'This fight is a higher level fight than David Benavidez's last two fights, put together. Those are the objective facts, of the game'.
I personally don't think that Canelo Alvarez is difficult to find as a fighter 'People are criticizing Alvarez for his latest choice of opponents. When in reality he has systematically cleared out the 168 pound division. These past few years that is precisely what Canelo Alvarez has been doing as a fighter and Champion'.
Note: Many people within the boxing community and media, are wanting Canelo Alvarez to fight David Benavidez 'But people must acknowledge, that it is Benavidez who no longer is fighting at 168 pounds. Benavidez who seemingly? Chooses to speak through media articles and with very wishy washy ways of communicating that he believes he is the man Alvarez should fight'.
How about David Benavidez actually confronts Canelo Alvarez within physical reality 'In front of the worlds sports media. It is a very simply tactic, that has been used throughout the entire history of Boxing'.
I have never once witnessed Canelo Alvarez in the presents of another fighter 'Especially his nearest competition, ever be intimidated or dismissive of a challenge as a Champion. It has never happened'.
But I have witnessed David Benavidez the so called Mexican monster 'Be both intimidated and not really game for a challenge. The stage was set during the fight week of Jaime Munguia vs Canelo Alvarez. Apparently Benavidez was in attendance at the fight, in my opinion? That fight week was a great opportunity for David Benavidez to really confront Canelo Alvarez with old school tactics'.
To conclude: The hype for the David Benavidez vs Canelo Alvarez fight 'May of actually been more intensity during that time, compared to present day. All that it would of theoretical took for that fight to become almost unavoidable for Canelo Alvarez, would have been a confrontation between the two fighters'.
Instead there was no confrontation, or challenged laid down by David Benavidez 'Not even when Canelo Alvarez after his 12 round unanimous victory over Jaime Munguia. Alvarez while still standing in the ring, starred in the direction of Benavidez. David Benavidez stood their frozen, while? We have seen other fighters pursue their targets as challengers when they found themselves in similar situations. Oleksandr Uysk confronted Tyson Fury after his 10 round loss vs Francis Ngannou, and Daniel Dubois more recently stormed the ring and challenged Oleksandr Uysk in the aftermath of his second back to back win vs Tyson Fury II'.
I have state this on another thread, I think the Ultimate goal for Canelo Alvarez outside of defending his Super Middle Weight World titles. Should be to ether fight the winner of Dmitry Bivol or Artur Beterbiev 'Those fights are bigger and more meaningful challenges than the fight against David Benavidez' etc.
Says it all
Still, I'm hating this Scull fight
