With the smaller Uysk dominating the heavyweight division against taller and bigger guys is this the style heavyweights should use if they are smaller instead of pressure fighting ?

Usyk is able to get away with his style because of a few things most small heavyweights don't have.
1. Granite, Oliver McCall level chin
2. Excellent physical strength and high level wrestling training to prevent clinch domination
3. 15 rounds stamina to never slow down and become an easy target.
Most small heavyweights can't match Usyk in even ONE of these areas.
Regardless of size you have to fight to your strengths. Take David Haye a similar size to Usyk, didn't have the stamina, chin or clinch ability. What did he have? hand speed and power. So Hayes style was actually the best style for him, stay on the outside, avoid action and try and snipe with big shots.
99/100 small heavyweights who try and fight like Usyk would get absoloutley sparked.
