he is done. his punch resistance isnt there and he looked like he lost even more of his spark. i think this tells us that froch is slightly overrated also considering he looked like **** against taylor, he could barely land effectively until the very late rounds. abraham is very good and in my opinion would steamroll froch with his lack of defense

Let's not bash him or post anything negative about him, because he showed he has a warriors' heart by being willing to go to Europe and fight Abraham.

Let's not forget, he was coming off a KO loss to Froch, and never had a warm-up fight. He went from being stopped by one undefeated world titleholder, to fighting another undefeated powerful puncher. And he was 14 seconds from finishing today's fight on his feet...

I feel sad for him, and hope he recovers from this devastation loss and wins his next fight (against Ward in early 2010, I think).
JT shouldn't have been let in the tourny.

        Taylor is shot

he sould end is career before he ends up in a nursing home.

My respect to Arthur Abraham who showed decent boxing and great power tonight but the Jermain Taylor we have seen tonight was not the Jermain Taylor we have seen against Bernard Hopkins not even close.

Perhaps not, but Allan Green doesn't deserve it more.

Lucian Bute would probably have been a better choice, or even the tough-as-nails Sakio Bika.

I will have to recover from that shock before I have to accept this loss of Taylor. Yesterday I loved boxing but now , I dont know what to say It hurts man it hurts.

I think everyone on this forum knows how you feel. It's happened to all our favourite fighters at one point or another. It's even worse when it's one of the good guys like Jermaine Taylor.

                  It is sad.

But I've heard that Taylor has managed his money wisely, so at least he won't end up broke.

I feel the same way .. especially coming off that KO loss to Froch

all the others .. even Abraham coming up from Middle I can dig being in the Super 6

but for some reason JT just seems the odd man out.

even more so after this KO loss.

That punch that separated Jermain from his senses was the first straight punch Abraham threw all night.
