    TKO Boxing

A meeting among promoters and boxing officials -- including Top Rank CEO Bob Arum and WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman -- was held Monday, sources said. One item discussed was how to deal with the expected arrival of the TKO boxing league.

Looks like Turki and Dana are creating a boxing league that will utilize the ufc model....1 belt per division, next man up ideology.

Read on another site that Turki would be throwing money at all top guys in boxing and if they accept, he'll help them either buy out their contract to come over or will pay them to drop their belts and join the league.

TKO Boxing was a ppv entity back in the day. They played affordable boxing ppv events cards. I think MMA started there and some other wrestling leagues they tried to start off.

Interesting. Might need a better name though. Yet if they can make it work and they build up a roster, that might ruin the current boxing landscape. Promoters would be in trouble I imagine and if you get into this league, there would be no more cherry picking and protecting yourself to stay undefeated. They would have to force the rankings and make sure you're facing who is next in line. That would fix a lot of problems with boxing too, but would be a great disrupter.
