I like this idea, especially for novice fighters who perhaps don't have much profile, promoter support or financial backing. It might be an excellent way out of relative obscurity for some promising young fighters.

The one potential downside might be its potential for trash talk we see from a lot of cowardly pros who prefer to talk their way into fights rather than earning them.

I hope it works out in the way intended and becomes a useful resource for honest pros looking to develop and get into meaningful fights.
