Respect Between Benny And Morrell At Post-Fight Conference

Just watched a vid of the post-fight where Benavidez and Morrell put aside their pre-fight animosity and showed real respect and even affection for each other. This is not uncommon after a hard fought contest, where two warriors visit that place only they can. Made me feel good for both of them. But Luis De Cubas, Morrell’s dic khead promotor had to almost ruin the whole thing by raising some beef with Benny. De Cubas claimed Benavidez had called him “a thief.” And after Benny said he would “slap the s hit out of him,” De Cubas asked him to try. Lol Amazing how some of these old men (De Cubas must be like 75) think they can tangle with a 28 year old professional fighter. Haha Anyway, kudos to Benny and Morrell for a great fight, and acting like battlefield brothers in the aftermath.

Not unusual for warriors to show each other respect after a very hard fought fight
