    Lewis v McCall I

I just saw the fight, I think it was stopped too early. Lewis was a bit wobbly still, but he was on his feet, and moving. I think they should have let it go on, though. Lewis probably would have gone down again, but it would have been a better victory if he had gone down two times, instead of one.

I only saw the highlight when Lewis got KOed and it looked like Lewis was pretty hurt.

If you get flattened, and get up at about 6, you can't blame the ref for looking out for the fighter's health....let's pretend the ref let the fight go on, Lennox probably would have gotten beheaded by another McCall right hand, gotten badly injured, and Lewis would have never fought at the elite level again, the stoppage was the best thing that ever happened to Lennox, in hindsight

yeah sad but true. mccall exposed lewis´s weak chin, he didnt hit hard but lewis was wobbly, what if mike tyson hit him with a good shot?

Lewis had no chance of winning that fight. Apparently you missed how much he was wobbling after he got up. Lewis's career would have been negatively affected had the ref let the fight continue. In the end Lewis avenged the defeat and became the best heavyweight during the past decade.

McCall didn't hit hard? Aside from a phenomenal chin the guy had one thing going for him and that was a GREAT right hand. I don't think Tysons best right would have done any better.

could be, but it looks like a half perfect punch but enough to wobbly lewis.

The punch itself wasn't perfect but McCall was a powerhouse. If the ref allowed that fight to continue he could have seriously hurt Lewis. They called him the Atomic Bull for good reason.

Oh, I saw how much he wobbled all right. I just would have liked to see him get floored again.

I disagree with all of you. I still think that Lewis was a better fighter then when he was younger then he was older. I think the fight was stopped to early.

Lewis wasnt badly hurt, he was badly stunned. It was like when Chop hit Floyd. It was the same exact punch. This one was a littile worst and Lewis went down but immediatly after the ref stopped it, Lewis had his sense back. He wouldve been alright and I dont think he wouldve went down again. I think he wouldve came back and KO McCall. He was ok as soon as the ref stopped it
