  • Comments Thread For: Murodjon Akhmadaliev: Its ridiculous to hear Naoya Inoues excuses for avoiding me

Of course Murodjon "MJ" Akhmadaliev wants to be identified as a world champion again, but more than that, he longs for the opportunity to step in the ring against undisputed junior featherweight champion Naoya Inoue.

"Has he ever faced a 122 pounder?"

He beat Stephen Fulton (reigning unified 122 titlist), Marlon Tapales (reigning 122 unified titlist who also beat Akhmadaliev), Luis Nery (former WBC 122 titlist), and TJ Doheny (former IBF 122 titlist) at 122 and he beat Nonito Donaire (former WBO 122 and WBA 126 titlist) twice at 118.

Do I think Inoue should fight Akhmadaliev? Yes. But it's downright ridiculous to question Inoue's level of competition.

MJ and Slow Eddie trying to get train rolling
Slow Eddie also said he was making a complaint with the WBA and now MJ getting more vocal
Hoping it does happen so he can shut him up

Akhmadaliev wants his shot, and most importantly, the payday, which is understandable. Still think he should go for the rematch against Tapales instead.

Love MJ. And he’s right - it’s his turn for Inoue.
I think MJ has the skills to beat Inoue in whatever the outcome will be one of the top 5 matchups of 2025.

The bigger question is what has MJ done since Tapales beat him?

                Nothing. Oh, ok.

MJ and Eddie Hearn are nothin but desperate talk.

It's also reported all over the media, incl Japan that in 2025

Inoue will most likely fight Picasso in Vegas,
                  then MJ in Saudi.

Those are the only logical fights left, since no one cares about seeing Sam Cutman pull out for the 3rd time.

Not sure why MJ and his sidekick Eddie, need to be so annoying. Wait in line, you're nothin but B-side talent.

Inoue should just blast him out already
