Claressa Shields is fighting a 42-year-old in her next fight.

Does that merit equal pay with the men?

It's gonna be years before the level of competition is up to where it should be in order for it to be worth mentioning on the same breath, particularly at middleweight and up. When you've got several divisions that have under 20 competitors, you need more new blood.

It is all smoke and mirrors, it is cheap to put on , it is political correctness/appeasement and the reality is there are only a handful of women that are really talented and if it went tomorrow nobody would really miss it .
if women really believe in its future a female entrepreneur should take a promotional chance just like the men have over the last 100 years . Do not expect male promoters to pay over your market value .
