Fanboy, Tank wasn't ready for ages and ducking and running, now that Loma is old it is Loma's fault for some people.

I don't care to see this fight now. Loma is clearly not what he used to be. He might be able to win if he really wants to prove a point and give one last performance for the ages, but I wouldn't count on it.

And Shakur, that dude needs to fight or shut up. He's always hanging around fights these days and gets interviews and talks tough, but he doesn't do anything. He acts like he's this boxing messiah that is too good to get in the ring anymore and has accomplished it all. He hasn't done **** and is boring as f**k. People need to stop giving him so much attention and force him to actually fight. These new gen fighters are so lame, it's hard to stay tuned in.

So what are the Excuses for Tank not fighting Shakur?
Didn't face Haney when Haney was the real WBA champ.

It's everyone's fault but Tanks. Has to bring 130 pounders up, yet doesn't move up to face Teo.

I saw Mikey fight live at the Garden. He definitely was no bum. You guys that call boxers bums don't know how to fight on after getting punched in the face one good time, let alone fighting a 12 rounder.. you get in a street fight and catch a 2 piece and be like, "CHILL, you got that one, man. I'm GOOD!!!"

When a guy blatantly ducks a fighter and chooses to wait out his contract that's a bum to me

Mikey has a lot of nerve. Ducked Loma back in the day. Everyone wanted to see it. Ended being used and looking like a novice sparring partner vs Errl

I am not sure this article or Mikey Garcia offer any new perspective to boxing fans on this forum. This is the stuff we have been discussing ad nauseum forever.

Didn’t Lima pull out of the negotiations with talk of retirement?

The business side of boxing is different than the boxing side. To say Mikey ducked anyone is crazy, when he fought a prime Errol Spence. Mikey was with Bob Arum and if he wanted out of that contract, sometimes to fight a certain guy, means you have to also sign a contract extension. You can't intelligently make the comment that someone was ducked, without knowing the business behind it

Blah blah. He just didn't want to fight Gamboa and that's that.
