It's a mismatch. He could barley beat amateur Madrimov and doesn't want to fight the other 154s, but rather get a retirement check from Canelo.

This like the McGregor fans who thought McGregor has a chance, just cause he was a GREAT Fighter in MMA with decent boxing skills.

It will be hard but all it takes is for bud to have a great night and Nel o to have off night. If the stars align who

Let them be Mikey, all the Canelo haters thought he wouldn’t take the fight and actually think Bud has a shot. It’s about time Canelo gets some respect!!! Besides Bomac will have that towel ready to save him! btw, Canelo never wanted it. Bud can thank all the Canelo haters for the beating and retirement check he’s about to get!

            LOL "Chunko Mikey"
            Translation, please?

Mikey was a badass for a while and he gets big respect for moving way up to challenge Spence when Spence was The Truth.

"Garcia said Crawford, a 37-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska, has accomplished all that he can in four divisions between 135 and 154, and acknowledges the financial lure of a Canelo fight for Crawford, who has never faced a marquee opponent."

              Really, BoxingScene?
Who KTFO Errol Spence in a consensus superfight?
              HINT: It wasn't Holly Holm.

Mikey was a badass, but he would have gotten more respect and possibly a win aganst an all time great if he would have fought Lomachenko instead of moving up to fight Spence.

Maybe but he clearly couldn't have made weight safely to fight Loma.
Biology being what it is, the Spence reach was the best option for an ambitious Mikey.
