The whole point of this conversation is that a fighter pbc or not cannot negotiate or does not negotiate a fight without a promoter/manager/manager. And haymon is two of those things and to think spencerina made the fight with Crawford himself is ridiculous. Biggest fight of his career and he negotiated it himself lmfao get real man
I never mentioned it got done over the phone. I agree with pbc using puppet promoters to get around the Muhammad Ali Act.
You totally spinned this conversation into something else.
but pbc front office never promoted the fight. You can't sell a fight you never promote. Fundora promoted stated the fight will sell 90k at cowboys stadium, how if they never promoted the fight at any time ?Leave a comment:

He’s 22. He’s doesn’t need to push for anything. I’d expect a title fight to come to him in the next 12-16 months
ok? Canelo had first title fight at 21. What's weird with what I said ? He has had plenty of pro fights now and still hasn't stepped up his competition once until his last fight. He has over 130 amateur fights. He should be pushing for a title. Who said anything about boots ? This article never mentioned his name at all. Zays name was mentioned though and I don't think he beats Fundora and I think top rank thinks so too.Leave a comment:

It’s bumfundora should’ve given tsyzu his rematch instead of sitting on the sidelines waiting fight a retired Spence. Idc what anyone says this is nonsense. I hope he gets absolutely beat down in his next fight eff him
Here's the timeline.
Bud petitioned for and got a WBO title shot, and got his fight with Madrimov turned into an interim title bout. That meant Bud had the right, through the WBO, to a title shot, and if Fundora fought someone else, he'd lose his WBO belt to Crawford without even a fight. Right now, as Crawford is subsidized by Turki, that's a comparatively big money fight. So he was forced to wait for Bud while Bud was playing stup1d waiting games with his Canelo fetish.
Once the WBO got sick of Bud's delaying, he became eligible to take a voluntary fight, and Spence had gotten in the ring after Fundora beat Tszyu and challenged him. Since Spence is one of the biggest names known to casuals and fans, being a former P4P stalwart, he's a bigger money opponent for Fundora than anyone else in the division, and is a relatively soft touch coming off his devastating loss. Plus, he's a PBC darling, and the higher ups at PBC thought they could use him to sell another PPV. Realistically, he's the only opponent besides Crawford that they have in house at PBC that could be a PPV main event for Fundora. Tim Tszyu screwed any possibility of a rematch by about the rematch to take on Murtazaliev, and then getting smashed. Murtazaliev is injured, Ortiz and Bohachuk fought in the interim and all are with rival promoters and too dangerous for PBC to risk without a belt to go along with it. So who, exactly, is the PBC fighter at 154 that's a safer and better money fight than Spence?
Fundora is having a drawn out 15 minutes of fame. You know as well as I do that he's the easiest belt holder in the division, and as a prizefighter, he's going to want to maximize the purses he can get as champion. And, for my part, I think he should. Spence would have been a good payday, and it's not his fault that Spence decided to hold him up with negotiations and backing out last minute, just as he did repeatedly with Bud. He was ready to face Bud, but Bud spent months not taking the shot he petitioned for. None of that is on Fundora.

So the fight got done over the phone? Lmfao I believe bud meant they verbally agreed to it over the phone and that's about it.
If you think any pbc guys have a legit promoter and not a puppet used by al then you're delusional. The fight was never official as youve said so why promote it?
Found a promotional poster for the fight
PBC is on itLast edited by MulaKO; 01-17-2025, 06:53 PM.Leave a comment:

Let's just say that Turki is now the one laying the sanctioning bodies and not Bob, Al, Eddie and Fishnets. It's becoming quite obvious.
