Comments Thread For: Oscar De La Hoya: No need for Devin Haney-Ryan Garcia rematch

Oscar De La Hoya has completely dismissed the idea of a Ryan Garcia-Devin Haney rematch, saying he would rather line up Garcia with other opponents such as Teofimo Lopez.

    Right.
Haney don't want no more of that (roided) smoke.
He knows he doesn't look good with his a*s*s on the canvas.

It's the biggest fight that either guy can make

The rematch should be goal number 1

I agree. Hankey got beat tf up. It was inevitable. Once hankey fought someone his own size that he didn't outweigh by 20+ pounds he was getting hurt

Pretty sure Owen Lewis, A.K.A the guy who wrote this is speaking only for himself here implying that there IS a need for the rematch. Haney is probably suffering from PTSD and doing a stanky leg at the very thought of Garcia after what happened in that fight. He is most likely quietly siding with De la Hoya on this one.

That explains the disappointment of those 2 great pretenders after meeting with Turki.

Definitely a money make but Haney would have to drop the lawsuit

Of course Haney wants this fight. Imagine his drawing power with anybody else. Just about nothing because he is so defensive and huggy. And with this litigation crap, he has fewer fans, if any.

                  That ain’t true
It's the biggest fight for Haney but not Garcia
Garcia vs Teo would be ten times what this fight would be
