“The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Lepage-Joanisse made a pretty big noise when she fell,” Shields said. "I look forward to making Danielle Perkins make a bigger noise when she falls.”

    That's cold, Claressa.
    But I like it.

There's also a classic boxing movie reference there, nicely done.

Claressa (in her biopic): I coulda been a contender Trainer:you WAS a contender, now you da Heavyweight Champeen of Da Woild. You got class. You is somebody.

Fighting a 42-year-old? The depth of women’s boxing is very poor.

She should bring less racism into this world and into boxing. Everything she talks about she wants to make it about race and color. Only roots for her own kind etc , it’s disgusting

42 years of age is prime for a woman, just ask my wife. She says that people mistake her and our daughter for sisters. . Good thing she doesn't read on here.

I missed the part where she's bringing hope to the people of Flint just because she's from there. I thought this would be some feelgood story about some sort of charity work she was doing...

Isn't the water there still contaminated? How about she does something about that?
