Povetkin's Manager Confident Valuev Beats David Haye

Wladimir Hryunov, the manager of the Russian boxers Alexander Povetkin and Denis Lebedev, commented on the behavior of the British heavyweight David Haye. Haye’s aggressive self-promoting which often includes insulting his opponents has surprised even some experts in the boxing world. [details]

Povetkins manager should watch Valuevs vs Holyfield and then come back and tell me Valuev will beat Haye. Valuev is old, and much slower now adays.

I've said before no surprise if valuev knocks haye out.haye is an aggressive fighter & always takes chances going for the knockout.I'm not sure he can stay patient & stick & move like Holyfield did.15 years ago Holyfield would have been going toe to toe with valuev.haye fights like the old Holyfield but the problem is holyfield had a granite chin & haye has a suspect chin...time will tell.

Valuev does seem to have declined with age and inactivity, he seemed quicker when he fought Beck, Barrett, Tisdale and Etienne. So I'm predicting a probable decision win by the faster Gayemaker.

But that being said, the effeminate Haye is rather delicate, and so I would not be too surprised by a late round KO by Valuev.

Perfect post 100% agree with what you said here, Where are people like you when we have idiots on here who doesnt even know how to analyse boxing??

Wouldnt suprise me if Haye gets KO in 6 rounds with his fighting mentality.

              The mouth

This fight is to close to call for me. But i can say i am going for Valuev, Haye is bad for boxing. U can be a loud mouth and attract attention to the fight like Ali did, but what Haye is doing is distastefull. He is going to get his ass whooped and Valuev just might be the guy that does it.

Possible! Still think that Haye should understand that this is the biggest opportunity in his career! He should take it with all seriousness! He will be outweighted by some 100 pounds, so he and his trainer should understand that one punch can finish him off!

I still think that, taking to consideration Haye`s explosive style, this will be a very boring tactical fight!
