Quite possibly. The thing is it's hard to gauge because both have moved up in weight and haven't had the same "effect" on opponents; Benevidez couldn't retire an already retired yet technical Gvozdyk, and Morrell seemed to gas out against a limited, although tough, Kalajdzic. So my spider sense is kind of off on this one.

      Lol your spidey sense
Hot Rod , imo , is the better fighter atm
Hot Rod would easily beat Gvodzyk today

Have you measured their IQ or used a speed gun to determine who is faster?

“After this fight, there will be no question who the king of the division is.”

The king of the division is the winner of the Berbiev-Bivol rematch.

Morell need to realize that he is not fighting Benevidez’s previous opponents, tho it wouldn’t have been a bad idea to help HIM prepare. Morell vs Plant would be interesting, hell even Boo Boo would tell us more than we could possibly know based on his resume to date.
Best of luck to both men! Looking forward to this one.

                Right now ???
Gvodzyk has been out of fighting and out of sight for 4 long years
Especially after the beating Artur gave him he'll never be that fighter again

Morrell is absolutely correct about the statement in the headline.

He’s not peaking right now for sure, but I think he’s levels above Kaladjik. I think he would be the agressor and “Hot Rod” would go negative again like he did against the cuban.

What other fights have you seen Hot Rod in. ???
I'll take that bet all day long
Hot Rod was green when he fought Beterbiev but you can see the talent already there
He gave Morrell fits and that is no easy task
