Arum don't want it on PPV but Lopez wants too much money the Bobfather cannot afford. "Well, I can only guarantee you $2 mil, Bob might counter to Lopez's insatiable appetite for money. "I don't want it on PPV but if you insist, that's the only option we have and you get the upside if the fight sells. If not, which is likely..."

It's probably not so much that Bob can't afford it. He's a shrewd businessman. It's very more likely that he doesn't want to waste $10-20 million on Lopez, only to watch Matais beat his ass. If someone like Kambosos can drop Teo, Subriel may very well stretch him out.

          $20, Bob.

That's how much you'd have to pay me to watch your make-busy fight for Teo. Highlights, you greedy geezer.

Turki is right. The future is low-cost PPV or bust.

Look at trends across entertainment. Gaming's slashing jobs. Netflix is cutting actor salaries. The story this is telling isn't about piracy or "too many choices." It's about this stuff being priced for a broadly affluent world that stopped existing.

Boxing's lucky it has a sugar daddy sheik. If you saw the Ring Magazine party, everyone there was kind of giddy. After years of cheap-ass second class status, they were partying again like it's 1999!

That was the sugar around the pill. Boxing's going to have to make some big cuts, too.

Teo is someone that I believe should be on ppv: he’s the champion of his weight class and he needs the right opponents. I be prefer him over Tank. He’s fought and beaten way better opponents than tank. 1000x over. Meanwhile tank has the featherweight division shook
