That's done months before the fight, and that makes sense. The week of the fight, just do arrivals, weigh-in and the fight.
The fighters are usually in no mood to talk and hype the fight anymore, especially at the highest level. You get the odd extra selling or hyping of the fight with weigh-in drama.
On the night of the fight, with brief interviews before the fight, you see the authenticity, when they're not pretending or talking smack. Then they're quiet and focused on what to do in the ring.
