Paulie Malignaggi A Hypejob or A Boxing Master?

Did you know he legitimately only beat 2 top 10 ranked(ring) opponents his entire career: lovemore ndou(twice) and senchenko. whats the deal with this guy? he hung around for so long. how? why? and he blatantly robbed ngoudjo and pablo cesar cano along the way as well.

his signature win appears to be...juan diaz? juan diaz moving up in weight coming off a ko loss? what the heck is that. thats not good, thats not good at all in retrospective. do you think guys like malignaggi deserve to be clogging the spotlight while others get passed up? hell i think munguia has a better resume no joke

That is true In a fight that was pretty close although I did score it for paulie. Meanwhile when Cano is beating the crap outta him he's OK with boxing being full of sh-it. It's only bad when he's not benefiting but when he is it's great

The main reason Paulie got the love he did was because of his big personality and his being Italian-American. When a white American comes onto the scene and has success, they have a big potential fanbase they can tap into. You still see it today - Caleb Plant did huge numbers on Fox, when the guy is one of the least interesting boxers out there. Hell, look at Vito Milnecki Jr or whatever his name is - big crowds to see him fight cab drivers.

Paulie's accomplishments as a troll/boxing personality eclipse what he did in the ring - his prime was an email title and a pathetic string of defenses. I give him more credit for the Senchenko fight than anything else, even though Senchenko was exposed and never once beat a decent opponent (yes, 2012 Hatton included).

Mungia definitely has a better resume than Paulie - a lot more wins over good fighters.

I liked his podcast too. Does he still do one?

My favorite thing he done was Rattle what seemed like a 35 punch salvo of Sam Eggington's jaw and it did.........absolutely nothing

paulies activity won him the fight IMO, ponce de leon laid tbe blueprint to beat broner throw 4-5 punch combos and broner shells up. broner never hurt paulie.
