Good for this guy Surace. He may have just had his moment in the sun and then retreat back into the shadows of obscurity, but this is one reason why I love boxing. Lightning can strike at any moment, when one least expects it, with life-altering effect. Munguia's career may or may not recover, but Surace has the chance to make potentially transformational prize money out of this.

Munguia is flawed its true but when taken lightly any man can be caught with one good punch

Upsets always great for Boxing, this should encourage others to always stay ready and on weight so when this type of opportunities arise, you just never really know for sure what could happen inside the ring. Lot folks always tend to look down on the underdog ,never overlook an opponent. Ever

Regarding Bruno , he deserves a Canelo shot he did beat a top contender but I think Mungo team will offer him a rematch with a much bigger bag, also deserved. Bruno has nothing to do going south, needs to stay at 168.

He is what Canelo likes now a days. Undefeated safe opponent on paper, and he is fighting above his weight. My money is in a rematch, Bruno won't get a better offer anywhere.

This is why fighters that are undefeated rarely fight, you won’t find a fighter fighting four times a a year and stay undefeated for very long,

Simple but true, most will not fight or take any risks and it is always a risk inside the ropes anything can happen from a knock out, a bad cut or just wear and tear on the body. The desperation of fighting to stay relevent is not as strong as to fight out of nescessity or the necessity of having food on the table the prize of making a living out of the fights ...........Sausage wanted it more and needed it more on that night. Mung took too much for granted.

One thing for sure, it wasn't a lucky shot. JM was getting touched with the right all fight. His defense is his face. Left hand was down on the one-two that ended the fight. Cong**** to Surace

Munguia was a weight bully on his way up. Then he fought past due date fighters leading up to Canelo. But all along the way, one thing remained constant: getting hit flush and often. Could it be his legendary punch resistance is gone?...
