It will feel good to get payback from the Brits for the Jeff Lacy "LoL"
Exactly what I feel. I think Froch gets his socks boxed off and might end up being embarrassed by such a "green" fighter. The only way I see Froch winning is by KO and that is not out of the question. I just see Dirrell running and pot shotting all night. Froch at the end of the night will not look or feel beaten but will lose to a boxing match that he was never in.

Introducing: From Flint Michigan.. The Matrix.. Andreeeeeee Diiiirell

Its a coming out party. Take away the names and records and just look at the fighters and Froch ONLY has a punchers chance. Dirrell is one of those fighters that American fighters would have avoided because he is simply too dangerous and they dont know enough about him. This fight is for Dirrell to win or lose. Talent wise he has at least as much talent as any fighter in this tourney. His speed is great.. his combinations great.. what other super middleweight has better lateral and foot movement??? his relentlessness attack when his opponent is hurt is what I love the most. I believe Dirrell is going to make a name for himself starting tonight. If he stays focused he should clown Froch. Froch has trouble with Taylor who has ZERO lateral movement and average combinations. If Dirrel is focused I see him whupping that ass tonight.

His footwork is often sloppy, he hasn't solved distance yet, and he gets hit with ridiculous stuff...that's regardless of names on his record. So far he's also been chinny. This fight will force some man out of him and if he flat runs he doesn't get the D

Nothing Froch does is better than Dirrell.

If anyone has limited offense its Froch.. all he has is some power.. have you seen his uppercut? lol hilarious.. oh and he's tough.. footwork garbage, jab garbarge, chin? ask Taylor... too much credit given for knocking Jermaine Taylor out.. Taylor is there to be hit. Nothing Froch does is better than Dirrell.

You don't seem to have watched his fights properly. He has an excellent jab when he uses it, which he often forgets to do. He proved his chin against Taylor, who has real power and who hit him frequently with clean power punches, but couldn't hurt him, despite the KD. His offence has far more than power going for it. When he's on song (as he was in the last five or so rounds against Taylor, and the second half of the Pascal fight), he has excellent accuracy and timing, and is a very good judge of space and distance. He throws punches from very unorthodox angles, which makes it hard for his opponent to see the punches coming. And he's a very effective counter-puncher.

Dirrell hasn't fought anyone yet, and he's frequently been very sloppy against the journeymen that he has fought. He has talent, sure, but whether he can cope with such a huge step up in class, we'll find out tonight.

Froch's jab is weak and in your words doesn't have "proper" defense or as we say his defense is garbage. He has fought one descent fighter (Taylor) who is prone to getting knocked out because he has no lateral movement. Froch only has a punchers chance. Taylor was ahead on the cards.. He won on a punchers
chance. He's unproven with primitive skills.. For example.. When you throw z jab you bring it back to your chin otherwise you get hit with a counter right hand which is why he got hurt against Taylor. That's the first thing you learn in boxing if your taught "properly"

Anyone comparing Froch to Ali should be arrested...

Froch is no Ali. Anyone who knows boxing understands Ali
was able to fight with his hands down because he was one the most gifted athletes in the history of boxing. There is a reason to this day that they call him the greatest. Anyone comparing Frochs style to Ali should be arrested and beaten with many stripes until their train of thought has been corrected.
