Loads of Brits live here in the USA, working in the petrochemical fields, entertainment, military, etc etc etc and they don’t have the problems he has. It’s not a matter of “Americans just don’t get me”….they just don’t like you Eddie. You went to their country and acted like an ass. You spoke down to people, you sewed dissent, you tried to literally take Americans out of the equation in their own country and the fact the you expected them to welcome that with open arms speaks volumes about the lingering “empire” mindset that the affluent have back home in the UK
