I am really interested in these stats, so if anyone knows for sure (not just guessing), please fill 'em in. Let me know HOW you know, if you truly know.

    Ricardo Mayorga (vs Tito)
Tito (vs Mayorga or as recent as possible)
    Winky Wright
    Kostya Tszyu
    Arturo Gatti
    Vivian Harris
    Joe Calzaghe
    Glen Johnson
    Juan Diaz
    Antonio Margarito
    Kermit CIntron

The only one I know 4 sure is Gatti, who comes in around 159....HBO conveniently didn't announce his fight-night weight vs Leija, because it would have reinforced how bad of a mismatch that fight was....it's sad how the HBO guys butchered the Boricua about his fight weight a few weeks back, but they let the White Hope get in the ring without announcing his fight-night weight, sad racist ****

      hmm

Well those are two totally different situations, dude. HBO promotes Cotto as well. There is no racism. Manny and Lamps were on the same page, Larry is the only crazy one. They may mention a size difference but I don't think that's bad, it's just a fact and they didn't try to spin it a certain way.

As far as HBO fight night weights go, man, you must take into account that recently they have been showing them a lot less in general (for some reason, less access perhaps?).

HBO did not butcher Cotto about his weight that I remember, just his hometown favoritism given by the ref.

I do understand your complaints about Gatti-Leija but only to a certain degree. Yet, it is a fact that many people were picking Leija to win. Were you one of those people? Be honest with me, bud.

People were picking Leija to win? Well there is a lot of crack in San Antonio, or so I've been told....

you're right, they have been showing the fight-night weights less, it not becuase of accessibility though, they still always have pre-fight warm-up shots of every fighter....the Gatti situation goes back to the Gamache fight where Gatti nearly killed a man who was outweighed by more than 15 pounds, they always try to avoid showing his f.n. weight now, but HBO was MORE than willing to talk about Cotto's weight issues, that's where I threw in the racism card, but I see your point about Cotto being an HBO guy too

its not that they didnt want to read gattis weight
its that gatti didnt want to be weighed
its up to the fighters whether they are weighed on fight night
they dont have to if they dont want to

I don't trust those HBO weight-in numbers...When do they weight them? Are the fighters fully dressed when the HBO ppl weight them?
