I agree. If HBO was still airing fights and they pulled up their little graph of current welterweight champions, contenders and stars…Keith’s image would be on there in the corner 50% smaller than the rest of the pictures with the subtitle “merely a potential monkey wrench”.

I’ll admit that his marketing is out of this world
And there would still be believers if not for nostalgic reasons , I don’t know what

He hasn’t been a factor for quite some time

Because when he was active he made some entertaining fights. He also could articulate very well. Wasn't making an ahole of himself when he opened his mouth

Keith is a colossal talker. He could sell ice to an Eskimo…but if you are able to look past that (most can) you’d realize it’s just braggadocio. I think he could still put up a decent fight against fighters but as far as elite pound for pound or being unified again or something like that…absolutely not. You don’t disappear for three years constantly and then come back to have one fight and land on the mountaintop in one fight. Only way he would redeem himself is if he somehow got out in the ring with Crawford or Ortiz and upset them……that’s if he’s WANT to climb to the mountaintop in one fell swoop. But that’s not in the cards. Father Time is real…and he’s not that guy anymore mentally.
