Of course, once the fight started I had to immediately change my mind.

You have to remember this was not too far away from Oscar's fight with Floyd Mayweather which was incredibly close and which, by the way I thought that Oscar won even though he was a long way from his prime. So going into the fight, I expected Oscar to show up in good condition and destroy Manny.
Come on bro. ODH fought Manny at 147. He hadn’t made that weight in over 6 years.

He fought Floyd at 154 a year before. As you state he wasn’t in his prime. The only judge that gave ODH the fight was his judge- this way it looked like an SD so they could sell the team planned rematch.

That you thought ODH would destroy Manny given the context is bizarre. In fairness to you, a lot of casuals did such that I made a killing betting on Manny.

How is a man not in his prime, going down 7 lbs after 6 years, going to be in good condition such that he was going to beat one of the top 2 p4p boxers in the world?

    Clearly not the same.
It was a pick-em fight at best. He certainly didn't whoop Oscar the way Manny did.

Any other era Floyd wouldn't have done enough to take the belt from the champ.

Now how Manny beat Oscar, THAT's how you administer an azz whooping

Thats because that is the truth.

Only because Manny beat the brakes off Oscar are you trying to push these excuses.

Oscar called the shots in both fights no excuses.

    Not Floyd Boys.

He wanted full credit for outpointing him. Oscar was in his prime because they both were in their 30s.

When Manny beat the brakes off him a year later, Oscar was a dead man walking according to Floyd, and the Floyd boys regurgitated every word.
