Obviously you dont know what happens to your body when its too light and shuts down, it wont take on fluids thats why he gained only 2 lbs from the weigh-in . How do you think a 20lb bigger Oscar would go, I know how he would have gone and it would not be being beat like a POW.

      It wasn’t right away
I remember clearly that Horn was playing the game to see if anyone would bite
When there was no bites he came around about the rematch and Manny ( he was pissed that Horn didn’t take rematch immediately ) came about being pissed and saying that Horn wouldn’t make any money on his back

Surely that's Canelo, who had his own weight limit at 155 for several fights while avoiding GGG.

                    Not Floyd Boys.

He wanted full credit for outpointing him. Oscar was in his prime because they both were in their 30s.

When Manny beat the brakes off him a year later, Oscar was a dead man walking according to Floyd, and the Floyd boys regurgitated every word.

I don't understand why everybody is so negative about this fight and what Manny achieved on that night. I know in the last few years Oscar has given a lot of interviews about his struggles and substance abuse that kind of completely change how that fight could be seen, but I remember at the time when the fight was announced I thought the weight jump was waaaay too much for Pacman and that he could not compete with Oscar at that weight. Of course, once the fight started I had to immediately change my mind.

You have to remember this was not too far away from Oscar's fight with Floyd Mayweather which was incredibly close and which, by the way I thought that Oscar won even though he was a long way from his prime. So going into the fight, I expected Oscar to show up in good condition and destroy Manny.
